2024 Tampa Bay Sportfishing
February 1, 2024The Tampa Bay saltwater scene is exploding with action as our “Big Fish Season” kicks into high gear! The invasion has officially begun—tarpon, cobia, and kingfish are making their move, and the bite is only getting hotter. We’re also seeing solid numbers of spanish mackerel, gag grouper, and mangrove snapper showing up in all the right places.
Offshore? It’s about to go off. With calmer winds on the horizon, the Gulf—from 10 to 1000 feet—is primed for action. Whether you’re chasing pelagics or dropping down for grouper and snapper, it’s about to be as good as it gets.
Tarpon season is here, and we’ll be dedicating a ton of time to targeting the mighty silver king. Nothing compares to the thrill of these battles, and our passion for tarpon runs deep this time of year.
Join us as we chase down trophy fish, putting our top-of-the-line Shimano gear and proven techniques to the test. Expect screaming drags, bent rods, and heart-pounding fights with some of the ocean’s most prized predators. From live baiting and bottom fishing to slinging artificials, I’ll show you how to get in on the action and land your fish of a lifetime!
See you on the water!

Being on the water nearly 300 days per year between Florida, Costa Rica and the Bahamas and a demanding tournament schedule, I don’t always find time to keep up with writing fishing reports. Please follow us on Facebook for regular updates and current photos, or give us a call to find out what’s biting and book your next charter.
