Captain Robert is a third generation Tampa native with over 15 years of extensive experience fishing the waters from Tarpon Springs to Boca Grande. Inshore and offshore, Capt. Robert has fished professionally and commercially.
Whether you prefer fishing the quiet backwaters for Snook, Redfish, Trout, and Black Drum or experiencing the thrill of catching giant Tarpon, Cobia, Shark, or Goliath Grouper on the beaches or bridges, Captain Robert is ready. If you are interested in heading offshore into the Gulf in search of Grouper, Snapper, Amberjack, or Kingfish as they challenge you with their strength and endurance, Capt. Robert will work hard to insure you land the fish of a lifetime.
Capt. Robert specializes in catching monster Tarpon April – July in Tampa Bay and the World Famous Boca Grande Pass. He is a proven tournament competitor with Top 10 finishes in tournaments such as the nationally televised Professional Tarpon Tournament Series. With Tarpon over 200 pounds routinely landed, your catch of a lifetime could be a phone call away.
Capt. Robert offers fishing charters for anglers of all ages and skill levels and runs half, three quarter, and full day charters to accommodate your needs. Whether you are looking for a morning or afternoon trip or want to book a special night time Snook or Shark charter, we can accommodate your schedule. USCG licensed and insured, Capt. Robert is also available to captain your vessel while providing his knowledge and expertise of the local waters to create the most productive fishing day possible.
He is passionate about conservation and preservation and has assisted the Tarpon Research Institute in tagging and measuring tarpon for research in their migration habits. He also supports local charities and is a member of The Snook Foundation, Tampa Bay Fishing Guide Association, The Florida Guides Association, The Coastal Conservation Association, Tampa Bay Watch, The Tarpon Anglers Club, and Bonefish and Tarpon Research.
THE VESSEL
Captain Robert operates a fully equipped 22′ Pathfinder bay boat with a 225hp Yamaha capable of running the shallowest flats while also comfortably fishing the bays and passes. Top of the line equipment and fishing tackle are always provided. The vessel can comfortably accommodate up to 4 passengers.
Captain Robert’s offshore boat is a fully equipped 26′ Sea Fox with a cabin and restroom for your convenience. Powered by a Mercury 275 Verado allows for a quiet and comfortable ride. Powerful sonar and radar equipment keeps an eye on weather conditions and helps navigate more efficiently. We can accommodate up to 4 people for offshore trips.
